The Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Mr Abdulai Abanga, has reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to creating an enabling financial environment and streamlining regulatory frameworks for real estate companies to expedite the construction of houses.

He underscored the importance of adequate and affordable housing to advancing social welfare and economic growth in Ghana.

Speaking at the launch of Legato Heights Residence, he mentioned the impact public and private sector collaborations could have in addressing Ghana's housing deficit.

"Housing is pivotal for community building and economic progress. When people have access to quality and affordable places to live, it creates stability and opportunities that radiate across society.

"Private developers like Vaal Real Estate play an invaluable role in realising the government's vision of housing security for all Ghanaians,” he added.

He applauded the swift one-year progress of Vaal Real Estate in completing Legato Heights Residence, which follows another recently finished project, Harmonia Residence.

"By aligning the expertise and resources of the public and private spheres, we can collectively overcome the housing supply challenges inhibiting more inclusive development,“ he added.
