4x4 Album Launch A Hit

IT WAS a weekend of unforgettable fun at the Boomerang Night Club when Ghana's hiplife trio, 4x4, staged a brilliant live performance during the launch of its latest album, World Trade Centre.
The launch, which was sponsored by one of Ghana's leading mobile telecommunication networks, TIGO, attracted hundreds of music lovers who trooped to the Boomerang Night Club at the weekend to witness the official launch of the much awaited World Trade Centre album by the group.
The event also attracted some seasoned hiplife stars such as Castro, Becca, Praye, Screwface, VIP, 55, Quata and many others.
The group, 4x4, initially made up of two - Captain Planet and Abortion, has seen the addition of the silky voiced Prince Tamakloe also known as Fresh Prince. He was incorporated into the group after featuring on their Hot girls dot com album.
The members of the group, who performed creditably, left fans in attendance wanting more as there were requests for an encore. The magnificent state-of-the-art stage also heightened the spirit in the club.
For over thirty minutes, the members of 4X4 held the audience spellbound with their music but more than anything, their electrifying dance steps, which kept the audience stuck on their feet throughout.
They performed songs from all their albums to the excitement and admiration of their fans, all the while dressed in white. After their splendid performance, most people agreed that 4X4 had arrived “musically” and wanted to know when the group would stage its own show.
The group, trained by Buk Bak, has had four albums so far and their latest addition they say will propel them onto the international music scene. Their songs include Sikeletele, Contestant Number 1, Hot Girls dot com and now World Trade Centre.
A copy of the album is being sold for GH¢2 and 4x4 hopes the low price will help fight piracy.
