“I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality”- Frida Kahlo

The ability to share and inspire a generation is a rare opportunity, not all people are able to attain but for the few with the heart of lions and the daring quest of leaving marks, it is a given. This is one of the reasons why Sarkodie teamed up with Prince Kofi Amoabeng under the wings of EchoHouse, the 360 creative marketing agency on a campus tour.

The show dubbed ‘X-Men Tour’ kicked off at KNUST over the weekend to a Great Hall full of students, fans and enthusiast Ghanaians looking for an avenue to be inspired to take on the challenges ahead. As the two men took the stage to share their motivations and fears which were inexistent and the future, the hall was nothing less than lit.

With MC, Anita Erskine at the helm of affairs, infectious energy and a lot of candid life experiences, the individuals who defined Ghana for the last decade took turns to tell their stories and tell them well.

Riding on the back of Vodafone X and UT Bank, the two brands made it more than appropriate to explain their products and services and got the students signing on. As the night grew older, the two gentlemen made it a 100 x 100 relay and made sure the audience who came to cheer and learn got their time’s worth

Sarkodie took the opportunity to surprise the students who haven’t witnessed his performance in a very long while. He took them through his catalogue that ranged from ‘Rapperholic’ to ‘Sarkology’ to ‘Mary’. The multiple award winner and exceptional entrepreneur took on the task and made the most out of the opportunity of blessing the next generation with the timeless creed of “YES YOU CAN MAKE IT IF YOU ONLY WORK HARD AT IT.”
