Founder and celebrated artist of Avinash entertainment, one of the most successful records labels in the Upper East Region, Maxwell Asumboya popularly known as DON MAX of “latohme, Pogka Dela” fame have referred to the “actions of Delight Box Entertainment (DBE) as criminal”.

DON Max poured-Out his anger on the organizers of the Upper East Music awards thus Delight Box Entertainment (DBE) weeks after the awards was held at the Bolgatanga Catering Rest House on April 2, 2016, describing them in no uncertain terms as fraudsters. Don Max who opted out of the awards is unhappy Organizers failed to fulfill several promises.

According to him, “DBE indicated that artist of the year will walk home with a Honda motor bike, but rather chose to present an Apsonic motor bike to the winner”. Also, new artist of the year was to be given a similar motor bike, but nothing was given him. He stressed that sanitation/development song of the year was supposed to be presented a laptop donated by the Municipal Assembly to support the noble progress, but the winner was again denied the prize”.

DON MAX added that, most winners were given calved wood sprayed with Gold colour inferior to the extent that the designs almost faded-off entirely before one could step-out of the awards ground. He stated emphatically that Ishmael, CEO of DBE, is an imposters driven by his selfish desire to the detriment of savannah music.

He noted that, he was ever prepared to debate and expose DBE fraudulent acts anytime anywhere because he is very passionate about music in the region.

He however noted that, the north was full of highly talented people in diverse fields and needed the attention and support of authorities to turn these abilities into professions in order to help curb the growing unemployment in the country.
