Akoo Nana Born Again …Now Preaches In Trotro

Sensational secular musician Akoo Nana has become a born again Christian who goes about evangelising and inviting people to church, NEWS-ONE can confirm.

The popular musician has even changed his looks and shaved off his funky-looking hairstyle and has also stopped wearing his diamond earring on his left ear. He is also reported to have shut down his popular beer parlour and high-earned liquor bar and laid off his workers.

He has been spotted in commercial buses known as trotro with Bible in hand, sweating and preaching on top of his voice to passengers. So far all the persons who have spotted him preaching say his messages have centred on 'salvation' and 'peace'.

NEWS-ONE can also confirm that Akoo Nana has become an active member of the House of Life Chapel, a small community church located at Nungua in Accra and each Sunday morning, he is a member of the church's evangelism and outreach team.

Other reports also say Akoo Nana, before his switch to Christ, visited the House of Life Chapel with a private problem that required a spiritual solution and after the head pastor, Pastor Stephen Essel, prayed for him the problem was resolved.

Strangely, unlike other worldly musicians who make a huge media hype when they become born again, Akoo Nana has declined granting interviews on his new life in Christ.

NEWS-ONE called him for an interview but he declined and said he was in church. Several text messages sent to his phone in an attempt to get a quote from him were not responded to except a simple reply from him: 'It is a personal decision between me and my Maker.'

The page, '@akoonanagh', also had several photos of himself in church being prayed for, preaching and doing other things.

It is uncertain whether Akoo Nana would  behave like Azigizaa Jnr and remain a floor member of his church or break away to form his own church like Ofori Amponsah did when he claimed  he had 'found Christ'.
