SEP 5, 2015 LISTEN

All is set for the second anniversary concert of the Overflow Incorporated on Sunday, 6th September, 2015.

The group which lends inspiration from Joyous Celebration of South Africa and Joyful Way incorporated aim to please their audience with both indigenous yet contemporary music.

The night will see a great display of contemporary gospel music featured by the likes of the 2014 VGMA gospel artiste of the year, Joe Mettle, legendary gospel singer Ike Nanor, Niella, Jocelyn Armah, Kofi Karikari, Teddy Amilcar Zaroe and the PL Crew.

This year’s programme, themed ‘Grace Experience’, seeks to appreciate God’s Grace given freely to man.

Leader of the choir, David ‘JLoopz’ Tagoe said, “This worship experience will show the best in vocal and general music art creating an ambience to make our audience forget their challenges and just worship their Maker.”

Peter Sarpong, Public Relations Officer of the choir added, “last year’s anniversary saw an overflow at the venue as over 2000 people came to worship with the choir. This year is set to be better and given the knowledge people have of the choir, we have no other choice than to give the best at the event.”

The energetic choir came into existence two years ago and seem to be impressing many who seek to enjoy good gospel music.

Made up of young upcoming maestros spanning various denominations, the young group has shared the stage with many foreign and local artistes including Fred Hammond, Patrick Duncan, Alvin Slaughter, Ohemaa Mercy, Joe Mettle, just to name a few.

The group has three singles.
Their songs have reached many in Ghana, Africa and beyond.
