Artistes who will be performing at this year's MUSIGA Grand Ball slated for September 4 at the Banquet Hall of the State House have told patrons of the event to expect fabulous performances.

While Paapa Yankson, the highlife veteran, has assured patrons that 'I am going to give my best ever,' Rex Omar has stated that 'Good beads do not blow their horns but I am urging music lovers to fill the auditorium for the heavens will fall that day.'

Other artistes on the bill such as Gifty Osei, Becca and Bisa Kdei have all assured their fans that they wouldn't perform below their best. Becca indicated that she draws her inspiration from her fans, adding, 'I humbly do request the presence of the fans for they will be overjoyed.'

After his rehearsal, an excited Gasmilla whose song, Telemo, is generating waves at the moment indicated that performing for the current President and the ex-President is something he relishes and that he will put up an unforgettable performance.

Other performances for the night will be staged by Belembe hit-maker Bessa Simons, gospel divas Celestine Donkor and Philipa Baafi, as well as veteran performers Bob Pinodo and Obuoba J.A Adofo.

This year's edition of the Grand Ball is the third since the Obour-led administration came into office. The MUSIGA Grand Ball is an annual fundraising event aimed at raising funds to support a selected charity or project. This year's event is in aid of the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWeF) and the MUSIGA Academy.
