One of Ghana's highlife musicians, Nana Tabri, known by his popular song 'Sino Akon Kon', has descended heavily on the President of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour, aka Obour, saying he lacks enough competence to manage the affairs of MUSIGA.

The ace musician who sounded worried about the current state of the music industry in an interview on E-zone on Kumasi-based Ashh FM, stated that the elders of the Union have been relegated to the background by Obour and his cohorts, whom he described as rather inexperienced, heartless and do not have the welfare of the entire musicians at heart.

Nana Tabri also stressed that Obour has failed to consult elders of the industry in their decision-making process, adding, 'The sources of the problems facing the Ghanaian musician today is bad leadership.'

The musician who couldn't hide his feelings on the programme described Obour as a wrong choice for MUSIGA presidency.

He added that Obour has done more harm than good to the Union 'and most of the musicians are not happy with his style of operation.'

He continued…, 'The sad news is that musicians in Ghana today have no idea what they are due, several donations were said to have been given to the musicians' fund and nobody knows how much and how those monies have been disbursed.'

He called on his colleagues musicians to rise up and kick Obour out from the seat of MUSIGA.
