Ghana’s number one urban youth radio station, YFM, has launched ‘Y-Dialogues’, the first ever monthly youth empowerment dialogue series to positively impact the youth to dream big and reach greater heights in life at the Silver Lounge, Accra Mall yesterday.

The Dialogues which will be aired on YFM 107.9 in Accra, 102.5 in Kumasi and 97.9 in Takoradi is aimed at youth empowerment, activism, mentorship, entrepreneurship, community engagement and career development

It is also a platform for achievers in various fields to share their experiences with the youth and to inspire them to succeed. The Dialogues would also provide an opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. TonyiSenaya, Ghanaian entrepreneur, and the founder of Horseman Shoes who was the guest speaker at the event, shared his expertise and experiences over the years with guests present at the at the event

He urged the youth to be humble to learn from people who have already made it in life and also be mindful of their credibility at all time since it is an ingredient for a successful business.

Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Dzifa Gomashie, who launched the Y Dialogue, said Ghanaians must do everything to protect their culture by patronizing made in Ghana product to help create jobs in the country.

She urged the youth not to allow politics to divide them because whatever they do or Itoday, they are Ghanaians first and they must always protect the interest of the state first.

Y FM is Ghana’s foremost radio station which is focused on imparting knowledge to the youth and positively affecting the lives of young people through edutainment programmes. The Y brand is also famous for initiating and hosting other events and programs such as the Mpwr show, Y Campus Express (YCE), Area Code Jams and Y Hood Games.
