Kumasi based award winning sound engineer, George Forest stated lately that he resurrected gospel music with the gospel music group ;YOUNG MISSIONARIES song titled' EMMANUEL ' which he engineered in the 90ths.

Drawing deep into his claim, Storm Fm 101.9mhz Entertainment Extra show hosted by Dj Murphy Lee in Sunyani, went up-closed with ace gospel musician, Dsp Kofi Sarpong to know his side of the story.

Dsp Kofi Sarpong ,now SP Sarpong, noted for hit song "AYEYI N'DWOM", is one of the few musicians who have combined other professions to their music profession without any blemish. Though there may be difficulties combining the two, artiste like Nii Lante a Doctor, has also than tremendously well.

Sp Sarpong, on his view revealed that, yes, George Forest has than his part but he doesn't agree with him for saying gospel music went dead.

"Other musicians have also than their part very well... Gospel music never went dead...after the reign of my big brother Agya Abraham, then came Tagoe sisters, Emy Newman, Mary Ghansah, Rev Yawson ,eerhm...Yaw Sarpong ,Wofa Asumeni ...then eerhm...Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ohemaa mercy, Ernest Opoku ...they also came", He explained with much humane to Murphy.

Sp Sarpong, made it known he would be releasing his new album very soon.

"Let's use the DSP to sing & use the SP for our single spine ...hahahahahaha ", that was the humour now SP SARPONG portrayed.
