Up-and-coming Ghanaian Rapper Kofi Way has been arrested by the police for marijuana possession.
News Hunter Magazine has learned that the rapper got busted after he premiered his new single “Be pe adi" which featured the Bono rapper Kwame Nana (Kooko) on Dj’s Jam, which was hosted by Dj Castiva on Kumasi based Kapital radio on Saturday.
Sources say the rapper was arrested in a car on his way to the house after the radio program.
He is currently in the custody of the Kumasi Central Police Station awaiting to be process before court.
