Ghana Music Awards: Celebrating Ghana Music

Thank you for your efforts in bringing attention to the music of Ghana for it has changed my life. I am an American woman and the peace, love, and happiness that is spread within the African sound sings to my soul.

I am surprised with all of the music created within that region that there is not enough competitors for such a competition.

It is the sounds from K-Hi Bangit that reaches my soul with such unity in not only family but the voices in unity causes an overwhelming joy of peace and love. It is the sound of kojo Kombolo that speaks truth that I seak.

As a white American woman I walk this earth with plenty and yet starve for the truth in the world. It is the African music I love, for the truth is in the words, still so much punishment in the world, in Africa yet the love is one not only sang through vocal cords but also through their souls.

It is my desire to visit Africa to not only feel the love but also feed it.
