Watch: Celestine Donkor collaborates with Mary-Jane of Joyous Celebration fame

Award winning Ghanaian gospel musician Celestine Donkor has released a new song, 'Turning Around' featuring Mary-Jane, former leader of renowned South African gospel group, Joyous Celebration.

The song, which is the first of two songs Celestine and Jane have recorded, is a classic piece that seeks to give hope to the hopeless and also serve as motivation for those who are downhearted.

Celestine Donkor's manager, Kofi Donkor told Myjoyonline.com that the gospel musician was contacted by Jane and her management “because of the Supernatural hit track.”

According to him, Celestine Donkor and her band were flown to Soweto in South Africa to perform at a live concert which was headlined by Jane.

They subsequently recorded the 'Turning Around' song, which was written by Celestine. The second song, 'Alpha and Omega' will be released soon.

Kofi Donkor revealed that the Ghanaian gospel artiste has also penned a juicy deal for the South African to help her (Celestine) penetrate the South African music market.

“For the next three years, they will organise two concerts for Celestine each year in South Africa,” he said.

He also hinted that there are ongoing discussions to sign an exclusive contract with a giant television network to air Celestine's videos in South Africa.
