When NewsOne uncovered the medical status of Joyce Dzidzor, an AIDS campaigner, who turned out HIV negative, the court of public opinions called for her head and there were claims of her contract being terminated as far back as 2012.

However, its taken very little time for Ghana to find a replacement to sit on the "Hiv ambassador" throne, as Ghanaian Comedian David Oscar took to Facebook to volunteer.

Speaking to Mr. David Oscar he said "indeed I'm HIV/AIDS negative, but if Dzidzor can deceive the whole nation for many years, in order to make quick cash, then why can't I exploit the void created by her exposure?" .

He seemed quite serious when I asked about what motivated him to declare himself AIDS positive, "My brother, times are hard and boys are not smiling, the economy isn't moving and man needs to buy a generator, if I become an AIDS ambassador today, all the aids I'll receive will go along way to make boys smile again". The Actor/Comedian stated with half a hint of Mischief and optimism.

At this point, I was certain that I had gathered enough information, so in conclusion, I asked David Oscar where he sees himself in five years, and he jovially said, "I see myself in front of a NewsOne reporter, confessing that I am indeed HIV negative, but at least by then, I must have gotten enough aids to make boys smile"
