Edem Dedicates 4SYTE Awards To Fans

Edem, the 4syte awards winner for Best Photography, Best Directed Video and Most Outstanding Video,has dedicated his awards to his fan.

According to the 'Koene' hit maker, his fans deserve to have the awards in their names because they have contributed immensely towards the progress of his musical career, adding that he was happy that he was nominated for seven different categories and took home three awards.

The Ewe hiplife rapper, who launched his ' Book and Rymes' album which has 25 tracks at the plush Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra last week in Accra, told Starr FM in an interview on Monday that since his fans voted massively for him to win the awards, he would work extra hard to give them the best in him.

Edem, however, explained that he couldn't make it to the awards ceremony in person because he was swamped with organising the launch of his book and school work.

'I just finished with my album launch, very intense two weeks straight of live band rehearsals, I got vocal problems and my team thought I needed some rest because I had school on Monday too,' he explained.

He advised the organisers of the 4syte Music Video Awards to work extra hard in ensuring next year's awards ceremony does not get engulfed in controversy and distrust.

His latest album features 16 of Africa's hottest artistes, including Samini, M.I, Casper Novyest, Ice prince Zamani, Ice Queen Cleo, Black Prophet and a host of others.
