In a quest to fight the dreaded Ebola Virus, several Ghanaian celebrities have formed a united front to empower Ghanaians against the virus.

The campaign, tagged 'ONE Ghana Uniting Against Ebola', kicked off with a gathering at Rawlings Park, Accra last week.

'ONE Ghana Uniting Against Ebola' Campaign has the aim of raising funds to support efforts of government in educating Ghanaians about the virus.

Big names including Sandra Ankobiah, Bola Ray, Tonisha Tagoe, Stacy Amoateng, Victoria Michaels and Keche, among others, were the first batch of celebrities to throw their support behind the campaign.

According to organisers, 'the urge to initiate this idea is our concern about the severe effect Ebola Virus could have on the already struggling economy of Ghana.'

They believe that being 'proactive' in taking measures against the entry of the   virus into Ghana is the best, and that educating Ghanaians across the 10 regions is also important.
