Kukyekukyeku Bamboo Orchestra Band Performs At Art Centre

Republic Day is celebrated every year with much enthusiasm all over the country and to mark the importance of this occasion, Kukyekukyeku Bamboo Orchestra Band had the opportunity to entertain music lovers at centre for National culture (Art center) as they put up brilliant memorable performance.

On the night the group was able to perform over 10 local songs together with some of their new songs, which they are planning to commercially release unto the market.

The leader of the group Kwame Osei who spoke to the media after their performance stated that, 'after 4 years of touring Ghana and performing across the country , we think is time to release our own album which we are working on and making arrangement to release before December' he said.

He added that, the group has been working on their album for the past 2 years now and they believe is not only going to be for the Ghanaian market but rather Africa.

In a separate chat with Doris Larsey and Emma Sey who are leading members of the Band they said that, they have perform at many places but the republic day performance will forever remain one of their memorable performance.
