RnB star turned Gospel singer, Nii Soull has shared his story on how he nearly joined Freemasonry – fraternal organisation that traces its origins to the local fraternities of stonemasons. According to him, he nearly called the grandmaster of the secret society's annex in Accra to make his decision to join the group known.

In his narration on Radio Univers with Bra Chef, the former participant of TV3 Mentor and 2nd runner up of Project Fame West Africa said

“Personally, before the calling, I hadn't actually reached that far but it got to a time I actually wanted to pursue such things, I wasn't advised to .I think it was stupid. I don't think I was thinking wisely. What happened was that, I got exposed to too many things if I should say. So I felt like it won't be a bad idea if I join Freemason.

As a matter of fact I even had the number to Accra's grandmaster for the freemasonry from somewhere. All I needed to do was just go there and get initiated. I didn't get to enter there so I cannot tell if there are some musicians in there.

One way or the other, I found out a lot about them because I researched a lot about them. So after my calling, God got me to understand that He was actually watching and getting me to understand some things about this freemasonry. God made me to understand that these are absolute lies that the devil feeds to so many people so that they will not trust totally in Him but they will trust in other sources.”

Christened Joseph Nii Ankrah , Nii Soull just released his latest gospel single 'Odo' which features Edem
