Come 23rd of February 2014, the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London will be buzzing with top-notch elegance and flamboyancy.

This is due to the stars who will be honouring the Red-Carpeted invitation alongside some celebrity pump and pageantry at its glitziest.

The Screen Nation Film & Television Awards, is the leading European organisation nominating, applauding, awarding, rewarding and promoting excellence in Black Film and Television talents in the Creative industry.

The voting for nominees in all categories are open from now till the 20th of February, with the public voting categories accessed exclusively via the Screen Nation website.

The event being spearheaded by the C.E O Mr Charles Thompson and his management, seeks to highlight from afar the movers and shakers in both Nolly and Hollywood.

To usher in the 9th instalment of the annual Screen Nation Film & Television Awards, the management of the event have this year, pulled in a genius by choosing the dynamic Nigerian in the person of Mr Obi Emelonye: the luminous filmmaker as their Creative Director.

With his depth of knowledge in the film industry, Mr Obi will prove his talent's worth by showcasing to the world the African creativity.

As to what the feeling is like after one has won an award, he said: " I know what this award means to a filmmaker, and well that's the stuff dreams are made of.

Mr Obi, bubbling with his signature smile could not hide his joy and revealed " It is indeed an honour beyond words to serve as this year's Screen Nation Awards Creative Director.

The star studded ceremony will be hosted by the ever gorgeous actress Caroline Chikezie who has starred in many films as well as the iconic 24 series, also starring Kiefer Sutherland.

Caroline will gracefully be sharing the microphones with the Godfather of Nigerian Comedy, Ali Baba.

Mc Clarke Pentoa will be reporting from the Red Carpet, so get ready for all the juicy news and interviews.

As a broadcast partner, Vox Africa Television will be showing the highlights on SKY Channel (218) come Sunday, the 2nd of March.

There will be other repeats on DStv (191) and GOtv (16).
