Nshonaa Better Produce Good Music, 'Wa Tricky Wo' Lacks Sensible Content

The rally of promoting and producing good music is the wish of every good listener to tune in to a radio station or even log on to music and video websites to watch and download audios and visuals which at least carries a good and moral lessons that can be practiced by it target audience.

The role of a sound engineer also matters a lot although he was only approached to produce the beat that can help promote a song but undoubtedly, it baffles me how most of our well-known beat producers can be way too ignorant, blind folded and death to at least help artistes who troop into their studios to record with their lyrics.

There are countless songs airing on radio and TV which content either have a positive or negative impact on society yet the kind of rapport between some industry people and these artistes prevents them from commenting let alone be sincere and real with them especially when the lyrics to their songs have no sensible meaning.

I happen to stumble on a song titled 'Wa Tricky Wo' by StranJah of FOI fame, produced by our very own Nshonaa Music on www.promogh.comand as we already know the handwork of Nshonaa, he really delivered to expectation but I kept wondering how some of our sound engineers cannot take the pain of helping some of these artistes who troop into their studios to record come up with good and educative lyrical content.

Formerly the leader of the Fruit of Inspiration (FOI) group and also known as Double Eye, now StranJah was signed on to the Boggie Down Nima (BDN) Records by VIP in a deal five-year deal worth a hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 100,000) that comes with a Toyota Camry, and suitable apartment barely a month ago, only to walk into a studio to record a song as this. I kept wondering if the content of this song 'Wa Tricky Wo' is exactly the message he wanted to send across or he just felt like making noise just to please VIP because VIP I know delivers to expectation?

The content of this song, 'Wa Tricky Wo' although talks about the level of hipsters seen in amongst thefemale youth of this generation, it doesn't make any sense talk less of having any positive impact of change on these ladies who dress to either seek for attention or 'market' themselves.

Nshonaa, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be producing any good songs. Because, the numerous audio tracks produced by him either have no sensible meanings or even attribute positively by the likes of well-known artistes as 'U go kill me' and 'Dangerous' by Sarkodie, 'Check my shoe lace' by Kwaw Kese, 'Oh Vera' by D-Black and 'Kaalu' by EL, just a few to mention.

But this time around I think he has gone way overboard with this 'Wa Tricky Wo' track and should have rather been professional enough to know how a song like this one could bring disappointments to his followers who love him for his incredible beats.

Although an artiste gaits into a studio on his or her own to record, I think it's about time our sound engineers buckle up and help edit the lyrical contents some artistes bring to their studios to record, we need good music that will have positive impacts on our generation and not necessarily producing danceable beats.

Nshonaa Music better sit up and produce better songs with 'sensible' and educative contents or fades away silently.

I wonder what the visual to this 'Wa Tricky Wo' will display, if it will send any good message though the lyrical content to the song itself doesn't send any good message to the listener. What a disappointment on the part of Nshonaa Music!!!
