Dr. Slim Performing At The Show

The maiden edition of the Coca-Cola Shake Up Party was held on Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra.

Gates opened at 10 am and throngs of fun-loving youth and young adults trooped in to participate in several games, Coke azonto competition, rap battle and later danced their hearts out to great music by EL, Okyeame Kwame, Stone Buoy, Guru, D3 as well as Double & Dr. Slim.

Prizes were presented to the winners and runner ups of various activities.

The ''Swag on Papa'' Funny Face and Caroline hosted the show with key celebrities such as Stephen Appiah passing through.

An official of the Coca-Cola Company said the event was part of the company's ''Shake Up Your Senses '' Refreshment campaign. It was an experiential event to connect consumers and enable them to unleash their social energy powered by Coke.

The event was also to amplify the Coca-Cola digital handshake video on You Tube, bringing to life the full story.
