Kofi Boakye, popular known as Kofi B in the highlife music world has granted an interview to MAAME AKOSUA DUFIE ON SANKOFA RADIO, BASED IN VIRGINIA, USA.
Kofi B intimated that it was rather unfortunate that some people were spreading false rumors about him as to the reason why he had been attacked.
In explaining what had transpired that fateful day to MAAME AKOSUA DUFIE, he stated that, he had gone to the studio late at night because that was his preference. After his studio session he had walked over to his car and gotten in.
Kofi B said that he was then approached by some four men who asked him to get out of his car, he refused and they started banging on it for him to get out. He said after he got out, they started pushing on his chest and demanded his belongings
He stated categorically that he did not know his attackers and neither did he pay anyone to attack him as a publicity stunt. He said he did not need the attention because his music was doing as well as he wanted it to.
In his conclusion, he said he dared anyone to come forward to refute his statements and he would be glad to bring his evidence.
