Joy TV, the movie channel on MultiTV popular for exciting soaps, series and telenovelas such as El Clon, La Tormenta and Lee San, will be introducing yet another interesting telenovela that already has people talking – “First Lady.” The telenovela will be launched in a three-day special live program hosted by sensational Ghanaian actress Judith Asante from January 23 - 25, 2013, on Joy TV at 9:00p.m.
“First Lady,” also known as “Primera Dama” in Spanish, is a story about Sabina Astudillo, an ordinary, young and ambitious woman whose desire to become the First Lady of Chile drives her to do anything possible to seduce presidential candidate Leonardo Sandander. However, before she can claim the man to herself she must get rid of the biggest challenge in the way – Bruna his wife, and turn her children against her.
This intriguing telenovela juxtaposes the lives of the rich and poor while exposing the secret desires of many women.
Joy TV, in an effort to continue offering great television entertainment to viewers will officially launch “First Lady” on TV before its air date on January 28, 2013. The three-day launch starting from January 23rd will discuss the themes “power”, “class” and “money” and invite viewers to participate via phone calls and the channel's social media page: Facebook.com/joytvchannel.
