Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame is describing his soon to be released album as his “blood, sweat and tears”.

He dropped into the studios of Focus FM during the brunch earlier this week to chitchat with Kwame Poku (DJ Scientific) about his new album “The Versatile Show”.

He says fans should expect the new album this July, adding that it is called ”The Versatile show “because that is what it represents. Every song on the album is of a different genre including zouks, soul, pop, highlife and others.

“The album is coming out this July. This album is my blood, sweat and tears. This is an album that is thought provoking”.

He also spoke about his recent video for the song sika and says the video is simple and illustrative and sought to explain the meaning of the song.

The rapper who recently turned thirty-six says he is aware his songs are deep but he considers his listeners very intelligent enough to understand the songs.

The rap Doctor also had reasons to complain about happenings within his industry saying that it is frustrating because the industry is run unprofessionally. He says people are not focused and do not respect timelines.

He decries the individualism among musicians and radio personalities and says it is a countrywide problem which is not good for projecting a great image of Ghana to the international community.

He praised colleague Sarkodie immensely on his latest feat-The BET award and urges Ghanaians to support him and not try to criticize and pull him down at the least opportunity.
