Raphel Essien, known in the showbiz circus as 'ANAMON' has openly describe the trend in Ghana music as worthless. He believes we are headed 'nowhere' if this trend continues.

Explaining his point,he said, most countries use their native language in presenting their music but it is not the case in Ghana. He believes an outsider should be able to grasp the origin of a music by hearing a few lines, ideally in a native language.

This,he argued that it does not say he wants our music to be rootsy but wants it to have a piece of our culture. He attributed this as the main reason for the decline in cassette and c.d sales.

The rapper has therefore realeased a piece which he believes has all the qualities a good music should have in Ghana. He calls it 'GBOLO' which means 'ashawo',produced by one of the city's finest Black Tiger and the video was shot in Kumasi and Accra.
