Sonnie Badu Nominated for 2 Africa Gospel Music Awards.
International recording artist Sonnie Badu has once again been nominated in the Africa Gospel Music awards, making it his third year consecutively.
Not only does he sing but his ability to worship and praise God exceptionally well is what makes him such a phenomenon and this has made him a household name across the world.
Sonnie Badu was the first Ghanaian gospel artist to perform at the wembley arena and the waldorf astoria in new york. He is Africa's pride in the gospel industry, as he has worked his way up to put Africa on the world map amongst the world's greatest worshippers. He is also the first African to be recorded by renowned sound engineer and grammy award winner Danny Duncan.
Sonnie Badu, distinctively known in the western world as the ''Worshiper'' who managed to bag eight (8) awards in 10 months, has once again come under the spotlight as he has been nominated for two prestigious awards this year.
The talented musician noted for singing in many different African languages, has worked hard to rub shoulders with many great gospel artists in the world, making him a force to be reckoned with. Speaking from America during his annual 2012 US tour, where he shared the stage with Ron Kenoly and Tye Tribbet who confessed to be big fans of Sonnie Badu. Sonnie said ''I am in awe of GOD! He has previously been awarded Best Gospel Act, UK in the prestigious BEFFTA awards; he also picked up Best Gospel Artist in Europe,Best Gospel Male award at the British Gospel Music Awards among several other mouth watering awards.
