The much awaited movie Hellmet is from X Busterrs Production is said to be released on June 4th, a day that is perceived by many Ghanaians to former ex president Jerry John Rawlings day.
According to the publicist of the Production house, Nana Quesy, the delay in the release of the movie is basically as a result of the frustrations in the issuing of date for movie release by FIPAG and also at a point when the date was given was also affected by the ban on noise making in the Greater Accra region.
He also disclosed they were not the only production house that was going through such frustration but also had some producers especially the new ones sharing the same problem with them. “ we really need to expand our movie industry and if we should have investor going through this frustration from FIPAG and some other bodies in the movie industry then definitely we will push investors away” he said.
He stated exclusively that all is set for the movie to be released and it will be in movie shops from June 4th this year. The production house is also ready to go on set for another movie but according to management, they want to release Hellmett first before they can be certain with a date they will go on set.
