Kumasi-based evangelist, Diana Asamoah believes it is only God that bestows genuine peace on nations and she is gearing up for a national tour that would employ song ministration, prayer and preaching of the word of God to promote electoral peace.

The project is being organised by the Diana Asamoah Ministry in collaboration with Frimprince Music Production Limited and is dubbed 'Prayer against Violence in Election 2012.'

According to Diana, the tour will take her to all the regional capitals and she would be supported by other gospel singers and preachers. They would take the opportunity to sensitise Ghanaians against election-related violence and seek God's presence for our nation through prayer, preaching and powerful songs ministration.

“Post-election violence has been a big problem in several parts of the continent. We cannot just sit and fold arms and assume everything would be fine because we are supposed to be a peace loving people”, Diana's manager, Anane Frimpong said in a chat with Showbiz.

Diana began her singing career in the 1990s and came out with her maiden album, Wona Mani Agyina in 2000. It was followed by Mabo Wodin in 2002. She had a massive hit with Akoko Bon in 2004 too and 2006 witnessed another popular stuff from her called Madanse Die. She put out Pentecost Gya in 2008 and Gospel Old Tunes Vol 2 in 2010.

“She is seriously putting the necessary logistics together and would hit the road with her team in a short while,” Frimpong stated.
