Kumasi, March 10, GNA - The Alliance Francaise will from Monday, March 15 to 25th organise a francophone multi-disciplinary festival in Kumasi.
The festival, which is organised annually by representatives of francophone countries in Ghana, is aimed at promoting cultural diversity and celebrating the values of "La Francophone", a festival for the community of individuals and persons sharing the French language. A press release issued in Kumasi by the Alliance Francaise on Wednesday, said the event would bring together artists from Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, France, Cote d'Ivoire, Canada, Morocco, Belgium, Niger, Egypt and Switzerland.
According to the release, events lined up for the festival included film show, music, live music concert and masquerading.
