
Zain Nigeria has restated its commitment towards efforts greared towards the upliftment of culture and entertainment in the country with its sponsorship of the ION film festival.
Marketing Director of Zain Nigeria, Mr. Mostafa Younes, who disclosed this at the closing and award ceremony of the sixth ION film festival held in Port Harcourt said there is an urgent need to correct the negative perception about the social life in the Niger Delta and the film festival offered a veritable platform to present the region to the international community.
He was of the opinion that with wide spread international attendance of the event, the film festival has indeed confirmed that peace has been restored in the state.
Younes added that Zain's synergy with the ION film festival was not only to bring together notable personalities in the industry, it also provided an opportunity for experts in America's Hollywood and Bollywood of India to rub minds with Nigerian talents.
He commended the organisers of the ION as part of its effort in hosting the international event, thousands of Zain subscribers who won on its dedicated promo for the event got an experience of a life time as they met with their favourite celebrities on Nollywood, Bollywood and Nollywood.
