
Nollywood top actress Omotola Jalade Ekehinde has released a new music video for Amnesty international on maternal mortality.
A statement by Amnesty international signed by Africa press officer Eliane Drakopoulos reads;"we have just released a music video 'Bell' Woman, dae suffer" (Pregnant women are suffering), which is a song on maternal mortality in Sierra Leone "
"It is a lovely and very catchy tune! Written and performed by the Nigerian actress Omotola Ekeinde and four Sierra Leonean musicians, the song highlights some of the issues surrounding high maternal mortality in Sierra Leone"
The song was performed during the campaign launch and caravan to reduce maternal mortality in Sierra Leone from 22 September to 4 October.
