Dispute Over Eko International Film Festival Resolved in Lagos, Nigeria.

Mr. Hope Obioma Opara, the Publisher of Supple magazine and Co-founder /President of Eko International Film Festival(™) with Mr. Ekenyerengozi Michael Chima, the Founder/Festival Director and their Advisor Mr. Uche met with Mr. Paul Obazele, the President of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) and leading members of his organizing committee for their AMP/Eko International Film Festival on Saturday November 21, 2009, at a private club in Surulere, Lagos, to resolve the dispute over who owns the rights to Eko International Film Festival. Top Nollywood actor and Celebrity Takes 2 star Fred Amata, Emeka Rollas, Director of Rolling Pictures Ltd, Lucinda Abazie, the Publicity Secretary of AMP and others were present at the emergency meeting. The Co-founder/President of Eko International Film Festival(™) and President of AMP agreed to cooperate and unite to make their film festivals successful for the advancement of the Nigerian film industry.
