After some years of being a single mother, following the death of her former husband, veteran actress, Liz Benson, who remarried few weeks ago, has explained why she took the decision.

The screen diva, who said she has found her missing rib in Bishop Great Emeya, walked down the aisle on Saturday, 18 July, 2009, in Warri, Delta State.

The new couple, who are in London now for their honeymoon, has been keeping the relationship for sometime before it eventually led to marriage.

http://nollywoodgists.com gathered that while Liz has become a born again Christian and an evangelist, Bishop Emeya controls one of the biggest churches in Warri.

Speaking on why she eventually decided to remarry after the death of her former husband in 1998, the mother of three said it is the will of God that has come to pass in her life.

In the words of her spokesperson, “as a widow, she has the biblical and legal backing to remarry, particularly with Bishop Emeya, who is also a widower.”

The spokesperson added that after coping with pressures from the press and responsibility of taking care of her three kids (two in UK and one in Nigeria), it dawned on Liz Benson to settle down with the widower, who is diligent as a man of God. “More so, as a lady evangelist, it is important for her to have a man in her life, and that is simply what she has done. Both of them are in love and have vowed to stay together at all time,” the spokesperson hinted.

http://nollywoodgists.coml also learnt that the respected thespian, who has lost count of movies she had featured in, will stage a comeback to the movie industry as soon as her honeymoon is over. But this time around, her intention is to strictly use her roles as a platform to glorifying the Lord.

“I have spoken with her husband on reasons why she should not dump acting. It can still be a platform for her to glorify God and pass many moral lessons to the public as a role model. But the good news is that the husband has accepted and she will be back on screen soon,” her lawyer cum manager told http://nollywoodgists.com.
