Fast rising, beautiful and talented actress, Ruth Bessong is no doubt a new revelation that is set to make a tremendous change in the popular Nigerian movie industry known as; Nollywood.
Apart from her natural talent that speaks volume of her acting prowess, Ruth, as she's fondly called, was trained at the Royal Art Academy, which is owned by respected and reputable Emem Isong.
Ruth Bessong is a native of Cross-Rivers State and she has featured in movies such as “90 ninth Day” by Papel Images and “Cross Roads,” a TV series by Emeka Ossai to mention a few. The sultry actress sees the likes of Genevieve Nnaji, Ini Edo and Mercy Johnson as her role models, while Hollywood star, Alec Baldwin is the international star she loves watching in movies anytime.
Ruth is presently studying International Relations in Houdegbe North American University in Cotonou.
Interestingly, apart from acting, the funny and pretty actress loves being around kids, reading and writing. Sources disclosed that she's one of the few that should be given opportunity to express their talents in the industry as it's obvious she's set to take over from the likes of Genevieve, Ini Edo and Mercy Johnson amongst others.
