The Yoruba movie world has been thrown into mourning with the death of one of his veterans. For some time now, popular Yoruba actor, Hammed Odunla better known as Dento has been hit with stroke, which has kept him at the mercy of God for recovery.
Reports reaching Nollywoodgists.com has it that the Yoruba actor has lost the fight to death.
Dento, as we gathered, died today after a long battle for survival. He was reportedly hit with stroke some months ago. Few months ago, there were calls for financial help for the actor. The call was heeded to by some Nigerians and Oyo State government, who donated some amount of money for the treatment of Dento.
He would be buried according to Islamic rites on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 by 10am. May his soul rest in peace.
