Following a story published by Nigeriafilms.com on June 8, 2012 about Ini Edo being at a Gee's Place, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, where she was reported to have left the club with a man, her husband, Philip Ehiagwina has reacted to the said publication.

Reacting to the story in a phone call to Nigeriafilms.com, Philip claimed that the story was false.

He was emphatic that he knew where his wife, Ini Edo was at that particular day, June 1, 2012, the story said she was. But he did not disclose to Nigeriafilms.com where Ini Edo was on that day.

However, Ini Edo has not spoken to Nigeriafilms.com about the story.
