There have been this question on whether being a celebrity automatically makes one a good event host or MC.
While a popular event host or MC can be called a celebrity, the same cannot be said of a popular celeb being a good event anchor.
Some weeks ago, Tonto Dikeh and James Gardiner anchored a show in Ghana called GH Stand Up concert.
According to feedbacks received on some social networking sites from those who witnessed the show, both Tonto and James added nothing to the event with the way they anchored the well publicised event.
Shockingly, in the middle of the agitation at the Dome, one guy stated that we do not have qualified and expert Mcs in this country.
Chris Attoh and his compatriots are trying but whether they really satisfy event audience with their delivery will soon be looked at again.
One question that crops up is if being able to speak English language fluently qualifies one as a good public speaker?
For now, let the debate continue on all the available platforms.
