Few hours ago, former Delta State number one citizen, James Ononafe Ibori was sentenced to 13 years behind bars for money laundering.
Just hours before the judgement pronouncement, one of his supporters, John Fashanu told journalists that Ibori was a good man.
He was also reported to have said that former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha started his football career just after Ibori built a stadium in Delta State in 1999.
Do you say these statements credited to Fashanu were only made to show solidarity to Ibori in his trying period?
