
It was all glitz and glamour as the second season of the Etisalat sponsored Nigerian Idol finally came to an end today after six months of auditioning, drills, evicitions and all the emotions shared on the show.
Mercy Chinwo edges off Joe Blue as she was named the 2012 Nigerian Idol. She walked away with $100,ooo (7.5million naira) a recording contract and a brand new Hyundai SUV.
The two finalists performed Bobby Benson's Taxi Driver together and it really got the audience screaming. Mercy also performed Fela's Zombie while Joe Blue performed Infinity's Olorioko
The grand finale show was also graced with performances from M.I. Wizkid, Chuddy K and W4.
The show airs on sunday on AIT, STV & NTA.
