FEB 7, 2015 LISTEN

Great fashion and bold makeup will always bring out the glam in every woman-the right makeup combination guarantees you that smooth glow, body hugging dresses gives you that curve, and the right hairdo promises you that perfect look that sets you apart from the competition. But how many times have we seen on the red carpet where our favourite celebrities come out only for us to be left disappointed by their look? That's exactly why we have polled the pros to find out which beauty products, fashion looks and accessories they believe in and use on their celebrity clients and on themselves. So stop hoping for a miracle. We have tons of fashion stories, beauty updates and inspirational interviews with top models on our website this month. So get clicking, keep sharing and feel free to comment below on which stories you are itching to read this month.

On our February 2015 cover is Nigerian model Mitchell Rhuada.

Mitchell is a full time student at Georgia State University where she is studying computer science. She started modelling when she was 15 years old and her biggest achievement till date was winning the Miss West Africa USA pageant 12/13. On the cover Mitchell is seen wearing a Gele head wrap with a leopard inspired jacket finished off with an African inspired necklace. The shoot was photographed by Atlanta based photographer Kareem Quow and towards the end of the month, we'll be sharing her complete cover story and shoot with you, so watch this space for more.

Also in this issue, we have interviews with award-winning Ghanaian stylist Dorothy H Maathay-Osei. Our beauty director, Princess Amayo, tells us why it is important for women to “Throw out old makeup“. South African music star LIRA will be performing on Valentine's day, this time at the “LIRA'S HERSTORY TOUR IN SOUTH AFRICA”. We also have a review on the top fragrances to get this Valentine for that special someone in your life. The Hot Issue is all about exploring life wherever it takes you… but still look fashionable while you are at it.
