Giving Honour Unto Your Wife

 
“Likewise, ye husbands dwell (live) with them according to knowledge, GIVING HONOUR UNTO THE WIFE, as unto the weaker vessel, are as being heirs together of grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered”. (1 Peter 3:7).

If there is anything your wife really desires from you, it is to love and honour her. Most husbands do not. The question is: do you honour your wife? The Bible says:

“GIVING HONOUR UNTO THE WIFE”.
You can't be great a husband; if you are fond of dishonoring her; if you embarrass and make her unhappy. Of late, have you said any of the following vulgar words to your wife?:

“Shut up!”, “close your dirty mouth”, “you do behave like idiot”, “You talk without sense”, “you are a fool”, “You are a bitch”, etc. Why are you talking to your wife as if you are addressing your maid? Are you talking to the woman you married or your captive, spouse or your slave?

Honouring one's wife is a duty that all men must do. Sorry, I mean all real and genuine men. Dear Sir, marriage is not equal to getting a slave; you cannot treat a free born as a slave.

WHAT A MAN CAN DO TO DISHONOUR HIS WIFE:
-         Shouting on her in the public.
-         Barking orders to her like a pupil headmaster.

-         Jumping on your wife for sex without preparing her for it.

-         Failure to listen to your wife when she desires to talk to you

-         Outright condemnation of her outlook, dressing, motherhood, sexual performance, etc.

-          Comparing her negatively with other women

-         Looking at half-dressed lady when you are with your wife.

-         Indulging in cyber sex and pornography
-        Sleeping with any other woman
