Fight Mates. These are couples that see themselves as enemies. They have fought so much to the extent that they are now separated from each other but not legally divorced. Anytime they come together for any reason, they continue their strife and bickering.
Cell Mates. These couples live together as if they are sharing the same cell. There is no joy, love or friendship. They are full of bitterness for each other, fond of reporting each other to every Tom, Dick and Harry. They keep malice, fight bitterly, full of hatred, vengeance, offenses, attack and counter attack, solo life, domestic strike actions, etc.
House Mates. Couples in plastic marriages end up as house mates. No friendship, affection, attention, oneness and togetherness . Though they are not enemies, they find it difficult to spend time together. They hardly communicate or talk deeply. They can't play together or crack jokes. They just exist together as traditional husband and wife, performing their “duties”. They are in a marriage relationship but not in matrimonial fellowship.
Soul Mates. These are couples in intimate marriage. They love each other, forgive, interact and relate positively. They are friends and lovers. They accept and celebrate each other, leading to a peaceful and joyful marriage.
To build an uncommon intimacy, you must not be fight mates, cell mates or house mates only soul mates can experience a joyful marriage that will and glorify God.
