Rumours Or Breaking News: J.j. Rawlings To Take Over Electoral Commission From Afari Gyan

The name J.J.Rawlings to Ghanaians means a lot. So is the name Dr. Afari Gyan. What is special about these two names is the fact that the two important men are all connected to Ghanaian politics. While the former has ruled Ghana for over 18 years , the latter has been the boss at the helm of affairs at the Ghana's Electoral Commission. The two have similar traits, while J.J is known for his boom boom talk, Dr. Afari Gyan has received poor media and public relations for his shoddy handling of the 2012 General Elections in Ghana. This led to a protracted post election petition that revealed certain anomalies in the Commission and the calls from many Ghanaians for Afari Gyan to be replaced.
