Odiifo Joyce Mensah, a popular seer who is one of the emerging female women of God in the region with special prophetic skills and abilities made this call when she spoke to the US based media house, Prekese GhanaMedia's representative, Daasebre Adansi-Prekese at Asuofia Nketia during a special interdenominational church service at Asuofia-Nketia-Kumasi to end a week-long fasting and prayers for peace in Ghana at the weekend.

Odiifo Mama Joyce in her speech to the congregation and the general public at the well attended event called on all religious institutions to mobilize their members in special fasting and prayers mood to usher in a peaceful atmosphere in a post-verdict period. She also admonished all Ghanaians to prepare themselves for the verdict which would be released on the 15th August, 2013 and to be in readiness for the outcome no matter which way it goes. She said, supporters of the two major contesting parties, NPP and NDC should exercise restraint and comport themselves as well as stop taunting each other in celebration or the opposite when the verdict has been read. She also prayed that the independent media houses also intensify their education of their staff, listeners and readers on non-provocative broadcasting , inciting journalism or callers opinion submissions.

She advised all Ghanaians that it is God that appoints leaders and so contestants should be ready to accept the results. She said though many people are expressing fears of impending war, she advised all well meaning and responsible Ghanaians to think of the country first so that we can all maintain the relative peace we have now in the country.
