At a time that Ghana is saturated daily with too many negative news about religious leaders and workers, doesn't this come as good news that someone of similar fratenity is making such an important call? The call for all Ghanaians to do self-examination, refine behaviours before seeking spiritual intervention for blessings was made last tuesday on Peace FM radio programme hosted by Agya Abrefa by Prophetess Mary Asamoah, a renowned woman of God from Senya Breku in the Central region.
Peace FM, a communty private radio station that has won many awards including an award winner from the UN affliated media organisation, Global International Media of the USA for excellence programming, was hosting its most popular community fora programme titled "Etuo Mu Osum" hosted by Egya Abrefa. Subjects for discussion varies but mostly centre on witchcraft and spirituality education. Prophetess Mary Asamoah, a renowned christian minister from Senya Breku in the Efutu district of Ghana was the special guest of honour. She has speciality in faith healing taking care of reversing family curses, epilepsy, barreness and psychiatric challenges.
In a fora that took the form of a semi-counselling and preaching, the prophetess charged all Ghanaians to exhibit a character full of honesty, sincerity, transparency and truthfullness in their daily intereaction before God will make available his enormous blessings to Ghanaians. She said Ghanaians from the ordinary man on the street to the top politician are finding it very difficult to tell the truth always. Lying, she said, is becoming an integral part and parcel of Ghanaian social fabric.
Prophetess Mary Asamoah advised the public to examine their own lifestyles and past history since what we do today is the continuation of yesterday. She said, when we deliberately blanted out our questionable past, it comes back to haunt us hence many challenges we have in life. For example, she said, a woman who is struggling to get Mr. Right should do self-examination to find out why she is in that state. For the barren married woman, she said, any history of abortion is partly to be blame. So hidden the truth and going to "Pray for Me" will not immediately solve the problem. She said, God is a truthful One, so anyone seeking his help should come in all honesty.
She advised all government and public servants to be truthful to receive God's blessings. She said, when one cheats somebody, its impact deflects back to you.
She warned all self-styled ministers and religious leaders who do not have any training and calling to stop defrauding people or risks the wrath of the Almighty. She said, they shouldnt be greedy to attempt doing things that they can not do. She also warned those religious leaders whose so-called spiritual consultations is causing break-ups of many families and chaos in many communities. She warned the public of fake religious leaders.
It is very important that as Ghanaians, we all pay attention and refine our behavior to be able to receive God's blessing.
