The GT Premier league started at all the league centres today and thank God there have not been any reported cases of hooliganism.
Asante Kotoko did well to counteract the technical acumen of the Tema Youth coach, Opeele Boateng, who felt the Asante Kotoko coach had no moral right to call him a "Journalist coach." The Giants of the North, Real Tamale United (RTU) further deepened the wounds of Accra Hearts of Oak with a win that was too sweet for them. Great Olympics did their wonder yet again and got off to a winning start. We hope they would maintain this feat once again. King Faisal drew with their opponents and one can say an away draw fot them is a good result. Kessben FC should wake up and do more than a draw. AshGold SC have proved that they can do more both domestically and internationally and their win today comes as relief for their teeming supporters. Berekum Arsenals have really silenced the lions with their arsenals and they should keep it up. Liberty's away win over their counterparts have confirmed the kind of soccer administration and management they have put in place.
Congratulations to all the teams who won or salvaged a point but to the losers, all hope is not yet lost, you can do well next time. To the fans and supporters, my advice is that let us accept the outcome of any match and do not perpetrate any acts that will mar the beauty of the game. To the knights of the whistle and their assistants, I say you must be firm and fair in all your affairs on the field of play and exhibit the professional stuff that is in you. Welcome GT Premier league from the long break.

Just in....
