WHAT WE REQUIRE AND CAN HELP YOU WITH
Actually, teaching Oral English in our partner school is very easy and enjoyable, and will allow the candidate teachers to be immersed in a Chinese community, providing a unique opportunity to explore this great country. The teacher will not have
disciplinary or grading responsibilities when they teach in our partner school, our school will provide textbook, and the teachers can just follow the textbook, do not have to develop their own curriculum. The class size is about 40-50 students in
each class, maybe it is too big by western standard, but the students are quite easy to get along with much more than Western students, so it's not a big question as our experience.
There are two semesters in our public middle school, normally, the spring semester starts on Feb.01 and the fall semester will start on Sep01, Our teachers will be required to arrive at Beijing one week prior of the beginning of each semester.
Location:
Most of our partner schools are located in cities or big towns all over China, most of which are in province of jiangxi , anhui, shanxi, hunan, hubei, xingjiang, yunnan,sichuan, guangxi and so on.
Qualifications Required:
1)Willing to stay for at least 3 months
2. Not younger than 19
3. Native English speaker or near native speaker
3. Formal teaching qualifications are desirable,
4. Although it adds to your experience, no pre-existing Chinese language skill is required,
5. A spirit of adventures and a sense of humour!
Typical Responsibilities (variable by location):
1. Work schedule will be from Monday to Friday
2. 20~25 classes per week, each class lasting 45 mins.
3. Fall semester from September through December, and spring semester from March through June , with possibilities to teach during summer vacation
4. Arrival in Beijing two weeks prior to the term commencement
