The organizing committee of the Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has set the 28th of May 2016 for the commencement of the 2015/16 season of the regional division two league seasons.
Over 60 clubs are partaking in this season’s league with only one vying for promotion into the National Division One League.
This season’s league promises to be a competitive one with the entrance of newly promoted clubs across all sectors of the region. Akoefe shining stars of Ho, Agbagorme Shinning Stars of Agbagorme, Afife fc,Nunchubru fc are few of the newly qualified teams in this seasons league.
In an interview with GBC’s Volta Star Radio in Ho Public relations officer of the regional FA, Eric Eli Adzie said all is set for the commencement of the League.
“Yes we ready for this season. The regional football association has done its preparatory works and is poised for an interesting season. The inspection of venues was done by the technical committee, referees and other stakeholders are just in anticipation of this League”
