The Ghana Football Association has allayed fears over an injury sustained by Black Stars defender, John Mensah, ahead of the team's last warm up match against South Korea on Sunday.

Mensah is reported to have received a knock on his thigh during Ghana's friendly game against Jamaica on Monday.

Randy Abbey, spokesperson for the GFA, says there's calm in camp and the Stars are only concentrating on getting their tactics right for the South Korean date.

"We are just training, working on tactics and working on them on the field then get to the gym later in the day.

"John picked up a slight knock in the game against Jamaica but he trained today (Thursday), so he is fine.

"Baba Armando complained of some headaches two nights ago so he was exempted from training.

"For Baffour Gyan, it appears that he's had a recurring groin injury so he's just working in the gym and running.

"He's not started kicking a ball."
