Reports coming in have indicated that the Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei is planning to form a new management team for the club.
In the wake of the $240,000 fine from FIFA in relation to the club’s illegal signing of striker Emmanuel Clottey, the Executive Chairman is not happy and has decided to make some changes in the personnel helping in the running of the club.
Following several meetings, Dr. Kwame Kyei has taken the decision to put together a new management team.
Reports from Kumasi say a few of the current management team members will be reassigned but most of them will also be shown the exit door.
Meanwhile, talks are far advanced with persons who will be serving on Asante Kotoko’s board. The names of the board members are expected to be submitted to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in the next two weeks.
